Tie your hands.
Use when you need to quickly gain insights to accelerate development of your solutions.
Mondays aren’t for everyone. But they can become your secret weapon, superpower, or best friend following a Think Wrong Collaboration.
It’s easy to become overwhelmed by the amount of ideas and insights generated during a Think Wrong Blitz. Use Do It on Monday to help you target a couple of small bets and gain traction immediately.
You’ll never look at Mondays the same way again.
- Portfolio of small bets
- Clarity about which questions need to be answered first
- A low-risk path forward
- Increased probability of insights that might lead to breakthrough
- Blue tape
Introduce the Do It on Monday Drill.
Instruct Wrong Thinkers to identify the most challenging question(s) raised by their emerging solutions.
Have Wrong Thinkers identify what they might do on Monday with five days, three existing resources, two colleagues, and $50 for each question.
Have Wrong Thinkers share their small bets with the group.
Small bets and affordable loss vary from group to group. Change the constraints to match your Wrong Thinkers’ sense of what “small” is for them.
For example, some will ask if the $50 can be more (or less)? Encourage Wrong Thinkers to not get hung up on the amount, but rather, use it as a starting point.
